Delicious choice of pastries and small sandwiches. Decorated like a bakery out of a Hallmark movie! Bought a French silk pie for Thanksgiving and it was delicious 😊

I've passed by Small Town Pastry pretty much every day on the way to work and back. To my credit, their store front faces away from Middle Road, so I haven't really had much to notice (not that I'm super awake or alert to or from work typically anyways). In a continuing quest to try more local cafes and pastry, I stopped by after work tonight to have a quick tea. The space is small, but definitely didn't feel as such. The lighting is not harsh, owing likely to a combination of the sparse accent lights and black ceiling area. The space is new and well kept up and it shows. Wood flooring of the style that snaps together adorns the floors, the upper plenum lacks a drop ceiling with the structural metal exposed throughout, and the decor along the walls displays either pastry or sculpture thereof. It's cohesive and comfortable - I like it. As I browsed the pastry cases, I fixated on the macarons when I saw them. There were only a few flavors on offer, but I only needed two and decided to go with a salted caramel and a lemon raspberry. For a beverage, I inquired about the hot tea available, to which the proprietor shared their selection of Rishi teas. I really like this! I haven't had too much Rishi tea yet, but what I have had, I've enjoyed. I proceeded to sit at a table and have my tea and cookies. No surprise, the macarons were as good as they looked! Both were a rich version of the flavors described and definitely worth the $3 apiece price tag. The tea was a perfect compliment to the cookies - Rishi's Jasmine Green is as good as the other greens I've had of theirs. I can easily envision returning here after work many times in the future. I saw the olive oil cakes and cheesecakes in the case and can easily envision stopping by after work for one or both. Thanks for being a great new space in Bettendorf!

For my MIL’s birthday we came in for coffee and pastries. We both loved our coffees, not too sweet, just right. I was feeling festive and tried the pumpkin cream cheese bar, it paired well with my pumpkin latte! Staff was also super sweet and helpful! We’ll be back!

Small Town Pastry in Bettendorf is truly one of the local gems in the Quad Cities. Diana and her entire team are incredibly welcoming, and you can feel the care they put into everything they do the moment you walk in the door. The pastries and food are absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully made, and honestly hard to choose between because everything looks so good. I especially love the raspberry crowns for breakfast or a quick snack, and their mortadella sandwich is incredible for lunch. I was there today for a Women’s Business Networking meeting, and it reminded me what a great space they have for small events and gatherings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff makes everyone feel right at home. If you’re in the Bettendorf or Quad Cities area and looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, or a welcoming place to meet friends or host a small event, Small Town Pastry is definitely worth the visit.

I had seen on Facebook that Small Town Pastry sold out of the viral TikTok Pistachio Strawberry Chocolate Cups on the very first day—so I had to see what the buzz was about. I went there the next day, and let me tell you: it was worth every bit of the hype! The Pistachio Strawberry Chocolate Cup was absolutely heavenly. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the texture? Chef’s kiss. 😍 And because I couldn’t resist, I also tried one of their mini crème brûlées. Wow. Hands down, the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had—it was so rich, creamy, and perfectly caramelized on top. Not only is the food outstanding, but the shop itself is adorable! It’s cozy, inviting, and just the kind of place where you want to linger. Small Town Pastry has officially stolen my heart. I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend anyone who hasn’t been to this gem to run, not walk. You won’t regret it!

Holy Bavarian cake!!! 🤤😍🫠 If you need some chocolate in your life- that is the way to do it! Honestly though from the moment I walked in I wanted to just say “2 of everything please”. Choosing was hard but that Bavarian cake was calling our names. 10/10 recommend! Took home a snickerdoodle cookie (which was as big as my face!) and it was soft and absolutely delicious. They also had flourless cake that looked so good! I honestly don’t think you can go here because I also found out they do lunch and dinner options now too!! 10/10 recommend. Everyone there was wonderful!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Small Town Pastry is hands down the best bakery in the area! We drive 45 minutes just to go there, and it’s worth every mile. Everything we’ve tried has been phenomenal—seriously, you can’t go wrong with anything they make. You can tell it’s all made with care and quality ingredients. And to top it off, the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This place is a hidden gem—we’ll keep coming back for more!

really cute place! I visited for the second time and got the creme brulee, fruit mousse basket, and a raspberry honey cake. creme brulee - overall very delicious, but they top was not as crispy due to the condensation of the refrigerator. fruit mousse cake - light and fluffy! kind of on the sweeter side with the casing. fruits are fresh and both my friend and I finished them. raspberry honey cake - very dense, not so sweet. It wasn't my favorite, but it was enjoyable
